📋 Description

• Enhance release processes and release integrity • Drive automation-first initiatives across software development and quality engineering • Establish quality metrics and standards for building, testing, and delivering software • Improve CI/CD quality and build internal tooling • Conduct performance, resilience, and security testing • Partner with Quality Engineering, SRE, Customer Relations, Product, engineering, infrastructure, and product teams • Instrument quality health metrics and dashboards for product stability, release readiness, and test effectiveness • Develop internal tools and frameworks that make high-quality delivery repeatable and efficient • Identify system-level quality improvements and advocate for automation-first approaches • Use data and experimentation to refine quality practices • Develop quality measures aligned with the overall quality strategy, focusing on monitoring and observability

🎯 Requirements

• Understanding of modern quality engineering best practices • Strong technical foundation in release management, automation frameworks, and CI/CD systems • 2+ years of experience building and maintaining test automation at integration and end-to-end layers for complex applications • Experience using modern languages such as C++, C#, GD Script, or Python • Experience with shift-left quality practices • Hands-on experience with performance, resilience, and security testing • Experience integrating testing checks into CI/CD pipelines and observability systems • Experience building internal tools or developer utilities that improve testability, observability, and release integrity • Strong understanding of API quality, including contract validation and dependency testing in distributed systems • Ability to promote quality, ownership, and best practices across teams • Collaboration and communication skills • Nice to have: declarative CI/CD pipelines such as Azure Pipelines or GitHub Actions • Nice to have: visual regression testing, k6, JMeter, Artillery, or distributed system fault injection • Nice to have: Docker and Kubernetes • Nice to have: Grafana, Kibana, or Prometheus • Legal authorization to work in the United States for Onebrief
