Onward is a healthcare-focused transportation company that provides both software and operated services to coordinate and deliver assisted rides. The company offers a transportation management SaaS platform that lets hospitals, health systems, PACE programs, senior living communities, VA healthcare, transit agencies, and health plans order, track, and manage healthcare transportation (including integration with EHRs). Onward also operates Companion Rides, a Door-Through-Door℠ assisted rideshare service with trained Companion Drivers who provide door-through-door support for patients and riders, and builds and manages networks of transportation partners to reduce clinic no-shows, speed discharges, and cut transportation coordination time.

📋 Description

• Accurately collect, verify, and document ride, driver, and rider information • Respond promptly to driver, rider, and customer inquiries via phone, text, and chat • Monitor scheduled and active rides to ensure timely pickup and completion • Actively support drivers during trips by resolving delays, routing issues, cancellations, and service disruptions • Identify issues quickly, take ownership of resolutions, and follow through to completion • Escalate issues appropriately and in a timely manner following established procedures • Maintain accurate records and updates to ensure continuity across shifts • Identify recurring operational issues and contribute suggestions for improvement • Maintain professionalism, focus, and consistency in a high-volume, fast-moving environment

🎯 Requirements

• 1 year of dispatch experience • Proven reliability, strong attendance, and ability to work scheduled shifts consistently • Availability to work full-time, including weekends and holidays (PST Hours) • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks without error • Clear, concise written and verbal communication skills • Ability to remain calm, organized, and effective under pressure • Comfortable working independently in a remote setting while collaborating with a team • Medical terminology experience is a plus but not required; training will be provided
