The organization positions itself as neutral and independent—no single company controls the project—and aims to make AI personal, approachable, and owned by individuals rather than rented from platforms. OpenClaw maintains open contributions and infrastructure (e. g. , ClawHub skills, Skill Cards, SkillSpector scanning) and collaborates with industry partners like NVIDIA to improve agent security and provenance. The Foundation’s mission is to keep models, platforms, and devices open and to enable personal AI that runs on users' hardware and respects user context and ownership.
