📋 Description

• Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care through scheduled virtual consultations • Conduct comprehensive initial nursing assessments for patients seeking HIV prevention services, including medical histories, risk assessments, and psychosocial evaluations • Educate patients on sexually transmitted and bloodborne infection prevention, with emphasis on HIV prevention, risk reduction, and behavioral counseling • Help patients understand care options, address concerns and stigma, and make informed health decisions • Review results, provide patient education, and complete clinical follow-ups within RN scope and established protocols • Maintain accurate, thorough, and timely documentation in the electronic medical record • Use virtual care tools to communicate with patients and support continuity of care • Collaborate with Nurse Practitioners and support team members to coordinate care and escalate clinical concerns • Provide up to 20 hours of scheduled live virtual consultations and approximately 5–10 hours of asynchronous patient care weekly • Complete at least 10 live consultation hours between Friday and Sunday each week

🎯 Requirements

• Active multistate Registered Nurse license through the Nurse Licensure Compact • At least 3 years of clinical nursing experience • Experience in a clinical nursing role requiring independent judgment in medical patient care and/or sexual health • Experience providing virtual healthcare • Experience in HIV prevention and/or working with the LGBTQ2IA+ community • Strong communication, patient education, and clinical assessment skills • Empathetic approach and commitment to culturally responsive, inclusive care • Consistent availability for scheduled consultations and asynchronous responsibilities • 20–30 hours per week availability, including Friday–Sunday • Preferred: additional nursing licenses in non-compact states, particularly Nevada and/or Oregon • Preferred: experience caring for gender-diverse and sexually diverse populations • Preferred: experience in a private-sector, startup, or technology-driven organization • Preferred: Spanish fluency
