📋 Description

• Lead the strategy and development of Lending Originations capabilities to improve applicant experience, new-loan conversion, and members’ financial health • Own the product strategy and multi-quarter roadmap for Lending Originations journeys or capabilities • Establish objectives, key results, and performance metrics aligned with company priorities and member needs • Identify and prioritize opportunities to improve application completion, approval, funding, and new-loan conversion • Translate customer, business, risk, and operational needs into product priorities and scalable solutions • Use research, data analysis, surveys, experimentation, and feedback to understand applicant and member needs • Develop frictionless lending experiences supporting responsible lending and regulatory requirements • Scope and lead development of Lending Originations products, capabilities, and features • Lead cross-functional teams across Engineering, Design, Data, Risk, Fraud, Marketing, Operations, Legal, and Compliance • Drive products from discovery and validation through launch, measurement, iteration, and scale • Manage dependencies, resolve blockers, and balance near-term delivery with platform scalability, reliability, and maintainability • Develop and execute originations-funnel experiments to improve completion, conversion, approval, and funding • Define success metrics, evaluate performance, identify insights, and inform product decisions • Communicate product priorities, decisions, risks, dependencies, and trade-offs to executive leadership and partner teams • Partner with Legal, Compliance, Risk, and Fraud to ensure regulatory adherence and responsible lending • Support launch and ongoing management of products operating within complex legal and regulatory frameworks

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years of core product management experience in high-growth environments • Experience leading complex, high-impact product initiatives from strategy through execution and scale • Track record of launching and iterating customer-facing products with measurable business and customer outcomes • Financial services, FinTech, lending, digital banking, or highly regulated industry experience strongly preferred • Passion for improving members’ financial health • Experience creating simple, accessible, and frictionless customer experiences • Ability to balance customer needs with business, risk, operational, and regulatory considerations • Ability to structure and solve complex, ambiguous problems • Strong experience using data to make decisions, define metrics, develop hypotheses, and measure results • Experience with experimentation, funnel analysis, product analytics, and performance optimization • Ability to build consensus and drive results across cross-functional partners • Ability to influence senior stakeholders without direct authority • Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities • Clear, concise, and persuasive written and verbal communication • Strong documentation, storytelling, and executive presentation skills • Ability to communicate complex product, technical, risk, and business concepts to different audiences • Ability to identify risks, manage dependencies, resolve blockers, and maintain momentum • Experience launching and managing products within complex legal and regulatory frameworks • Prior experience with lending originations, credit products, underwriting, application funnels, or loan decisioning strongly preferred • Familiarity with credit risk, fraud, compliance, servicing, or financial-product economics beneficial
