📋 Description

• Own and execute tier 1 People Operations processes • Serve as process lead for I-9 verifications, employee verifications and letters, elevated background checks, domestic and international relocation, working abroad requests, international business travel requests, and Workday processing • Manage HR Service Desk tickets by prioritizing, responding to, and resolving employee requests • Manage the HR inbox and direct communications to the appropriate person • Keep process documentation current as processes evolve • Maintain employee resources and People Team enablement materials • Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency through automation and AI • Research, test, and implement AI workflows to reduce administrative tasks • Help drive employee self-service while maintaining a strong employee experience • Contribute to People Operations special projects, including program rollouts, system implementations, and systems integrations

🎯 Requirements

• Min 1 year of experience as a People Ops, Recruiting Coordinator, or related experience • Hands-on experience using AI tools to increase productivity • High curiosity to learn and explore new systems and AI capabilities, including Google Gemini, ChatGPT, and Claude • Strong organizational skills with the ability to effectively prioritize tasks • Excellent attention to detail, emphasizing accurate employee data • Strong written and verbal communication skills • High level of empathy and focus on employee service • Ability to closely follow detailed processes while exercising problem-solving skills for unfamiliar requests • Ability to exercise solid judgment and identify when to escalate issues • Tech-savvy and skilled at learning new systems • Familiarity with Workday and experience executing business processes is nice to have but not required • Background checks are required • Legally authorized to work in the country where the job is based • Must not be subject to ongoing non-compete provisions prohibiting employment with Optro
