📋 Description

• Act as a technical lead for external partners, supporting business development and account teams in customer engagements • Translate customer business challenges into quantum use cases, algorithms, and models aligned to OQC’s hardware • Design, develop, and deliver proofs of concept to demonstrate the value of quantum computing • Benchmark quantum solutions against classical baselines and define meaningful evaluation metrics • Lead technical workshops and contribute to proposals, ensuring technical accuracy and alignment with OQC capabilities • Collaborate with product and applications teams to feed customer insights into product development and roadmap decisions • Share knowledge, approaches, and innovations across the global solutions architecture team to drive customer success

🎯 Requirements

• Strong experience developing quantum algorithms and applications for real-world use cases • Proficiency in Python and relevant scientific or numerical computing libraries • Experience communicating complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences • Proven ability to work with customers or partners to define requirements and deliver solutions • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and computational thinking skills • Experience contributing to or publishing scientific research or technical findings • Advanced academic or industry experience in quantum computing or a closely related field (PhD or equivalent experience) • Experience in quantum machine learning, optimisation, or hybrid quantum-classical systems • Background in distributed or high-performance computing environments • Experience in commercial software development or customer-facing technical roles • Familiarity with version control, project management tools, and software development best practices • Experience working in technical teams across multiple locations
