📋 Description

• Manage and litigate property damage and insurance coverage disputes from initial evaluation through resolution • Represent policyholders in disputes involving storm, hurricane, fire, water, and other property losses • Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, demand letters, and settlement agreements • Analyze insurance policies and evaluate coverage disputes • Develop effective litigation strategies • Negotiate settlements with insurance carriers and opposing counsel • Prepare cases for mediation, depositions, hearings, and trial • Collaborate with experienced attorneys and legal support professionals to deliver excellent client outcomes

🎯 Requirements

• Active Texas Bar admission and license in good standing • 1+ years of litigation experience • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school • Experience drafting legal pleadings, motions, and discovery documents • Strong legal research, writing, negotiation, and client communication skills • Ability to independently manage deadlines and responsibilities in a remote environment • Candidates should reside within approximately 75 miles of Houston • Availability for in-person court appearances when required • Property insurance, insurance bad faith, insurance defense, or federal court litigation experience is a plus, but not required • Prior property insurance litigation experience is a plus, but not required
