• Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules • Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities • Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts and resolve discrepancies • Support preparation of financial statements and management reports • Ensure compliance with GAAP, company policies, government contracting requirements, and regulatory standards • Support DCAA and financial statement audits by preparing schedules and documentation • Maintain the fixed assets ledger, depreciation schedules, and prepaid expenses • Support accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and project accounting functions • Record and reconcile intercompany labor, shared service, and overhead allocations • Prepare monthly intercompany reconciliations and assist with consolidation and elimination entries • Ensure timely settlement of intercompany balances • Reconcile payroll, benefits, taxes, and labor distributions • Support labor transfers and project labor adjustments • Review timesheet compliance and process labor • Maintain supporting documentation for financial transactions • Perform other duties as assigned
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field • At least one year in government contracting or public accounting • Strong knowledge of government contracting financial structures, cost accounting, and compliance requirements • Knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards • Thorough understanding of payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash receipts, and general ledger • Strong analytical skills for evaluating financial data and records • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams • Ability to collaborate across organizational levels and communicate complex financial information • Ability to self-motivate, exercise sound judgment, solve complex problems, manage competing priorities, and work in a fast-paced environment • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment • High degree of sensitivity regarding confidential information • Must be available to work extended hours and weekends as needed • Must be able to pass a background screening • Must be a U.S. Citizen
