📋 Description

• Lead a team of analysts • Lead team initiatives to enhance pricing models and methodologies • Oversee end-to-end rate development within a specific region for Oscar's ACA markets • Influence and collaborate with stakeholders to guide strategic rate decisions • Analyze financial risks and opportunities across ACA markets • Guide analytical pricing, prospective pricing strategy, SAE considerations, network strategy, and mitigation strategies • Support development of national strategy • Provide actuarial expertise across cross-functional teams to support sustainable growth in Oscar's ACA Individual Markets • Own end-to-end regulatory submissions • Mentor, coach, and provide regular feedback to pricing analysts • Promote and shape actuarial best practices for automation and documentation • Maintain relationships and communication with internal and external stakeholders • Ensure pricing is actuarially sound • Report to the Director, Actuarial

🎯 Requirements

• College degree in a STEM field • Associate or Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (SOA), or on the track to become one • 7+ years of quantitative analysis experience • Candidates must reside in the U.S., excluding Alaska, Delaware, Hawaii, Louisiana, Montana, North Dakota, Oklahoma, West Virginia, Wyoming, and U.S. Territories • Compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
