📋 Description

• Manage all regional SOAR Awareness, Outreach and Engagement activities • Facilitate the SOAR initiative within the community and with partner sites • Identify and meet with potential collaborators • Schedule and attend community events • Schedule and prepare materials for investigators' speaking engagements • Assist recruitment activities, including website updates, social media, and advertisements • Coordinate with community regional engagement liaisons, partner sites, students, and volunteers • Represent the SOAR Initiative within the assigned regional community • Facilitate organizational and community discussions about the project • Assist research staff in engaging community stakeholders and members in discussions about the project and its implementation • Travel at least 75% in-state and work evenings and weekends as needed

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required • At least two (2) years of experience working in an organization that conducts community-based projects required • Experience developing and implementing marketing, outreach, recruitment, or promotional strategies to engage diverse community members and stakeholders preferred • Master's degree in a field related to social science research preferred • Strong communication, interpersonal, and outreach skills • Experience working successfully with local community partners to engage community members and stakeholders • Familiarity with local culture • Valid Ohio Driver’s license • Reliable transportation and willingness to use it for statewide travel • Ability to work evenings and weekends • Minimum 75% in-state travel • Successful completion of a background check • A pre-employment physical, including a drug screen, may be required
