📋 Description

• Develop, enhance, and maintain Python 3.x middleware and backend services • Design, build, and support secure REST APIs for internal and external integrations • Develop solutions using FastAPI, Flask, Django, or similar Python frameworks • Create workflow automation and system integration solutions across enterprise platforms • Integrate applications with databases, APIs, and other enterprise data sources • Support modernization of legacy systems into scalable, maintainable architectures • Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, standups, retrospectives, and demos • Support CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and DevSecOps best practices • Troubleshoot production issues and support system performance optimization • Prepare technical documentation, deployment procedures, and operational guides • Collaborate with technical teams, program leadership, and stakeholders to deliver project milestones • Ensure solutions meet federal cybersecurity, compliance, and accessibility requirements

🎯 Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field is preferred; a high school diploma or equivalent is required • 3+ years of professional software development experience • Strong hands-on experience with Python 3.x • Experience with FastAPI, Flask, or Django • Experience developing and supporting REST APIs • Experience integrating applications with databases and enterprise systems • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps practices • Strong troubleshooting and analytical problem-solving skills • Ability to work independently in a remote environment and collaboratively with distributed teams • Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Clearance
