📋 Description

• Create world-class 2D and 3D motion graphics for a wide range of clients and screen types, sizes, and proportions • Design and develop storyboards, layouts, and concept designs for approval • Provide creative concepts and solutions for motion design projects • Animate content for large-scale event content and internal projects • Collaborate with Technical Directors, Experiential Designers, and Sales Leads to meet creative briefs • Manage multiple simultaneous projects, meeting schedule and budget targets • Lead development of design trends and direction • Provide continuous improvement through design and infrastructure practices • Update weekly WIP reports and take required action • Work with the Content Manager to improve design and infrastructure practices • Meet internal timeframes and deadlines agreed in weekly WIP meetings • Develop and promote the Creative Department • Provide innovative creative solutions • Quote multimedia service costs for internal and external clients • Maintain confidentiality and attention to detail • Help position Encore Event Technologies as an ongoing production partner rather than an AV and staging supplier

🎯 Requirements

• 4+ years’ experience in a similar role • Bachelor’s degree in Motion Design or similar field • Highly organized and able to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment • Strategic consultant with creative and commercial thinking • Proficient with Adobe Creative Suite and/or other design software • Project Management and Client Relationship Management experience desirable • Very high proficiency in After Effects; plug-in experience such as Optical Flares is a bonus • High-level C4D or Blender skills in lighting, texturing, procedural animation, rendering, particles, dynamics, and sculpting • Broad animation skills across 2D, 3D, vector, Photoshop, and VFX • Excellent understanding of animation principles • Highly developed design aesthetic • Extensive experience delivering high volumes of motion graphics for large screens and unusual dimensions • Knowledge of current techniques, technology, and creative trends • Solid editing, colour grading, audio, and pacing skills using Premiere Pro • Knowledge of a wide range of video codecs • Working knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint • Experience creating video content for Keynote highly regarded • Experience creating architectural pre-visualizations using Unreal Engine highly regarded • Ability to work within constrained timeframes and limited resources • Financial management skills and understanding of project costs and hours • Ability to translate client requirements into job specifications • Technical and event production knowledge • Excellent oral and written communication skills • Highly developed customer service skills • Time management and ability to manage competing deadlines • Comfortable in a high-volume, quick-turnaround environment • Excellent decision-making, negotiation, conflict resolution, analytical, and problem-solving skills • Ability to work after hours when necessary and attend industry events • Accuracy, attention to detail, discretion, and confidentiality
