📋 Description

• Provide professional restaurant equipment technical consulting and support to various organizational groups • Define root causes for trending and systemic kitchen equipment issues, focusing on commercial cooking and refrigeration equipment, HVAC, control systems, and electrical systems • Monitor, measure, analyze, and optimize existing asset performance to discover defects, improve reliability, reduce costs, and decrease equipment downtime • Read and understand equipment service manuals, schematics, and specifications • Communicate with restaurant Operators, cross-functional internal departments, and external vendors • Provide technical leadership and support to key stakeholders, including training when necessary • Coach and encourage restaurant support teams on proper kitchen equipment operation and maintenance • Leverage manufacturers to define root causes of trending issues • Transfer technical knowledge to non-technical people in written and verbal form • Develop knowledge of restaurant equipment and building systems outside the primary area of expertise • Evaluate equipment and building functionality as an interconnected system and analyze cause-and-effect relationships • Travel regularly to restaurants within the assigned region • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• High School Diploma • CFESA, EPA, or equivalent industry-recognized certifications • Strong commercial kitchen equipment knowledge • Experience/knowledge in mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and water treatment • Effective communication skills • Teamwork aptitude • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PPT) • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects • Self-motivated for continuous improvement of personal skills and knowledge • Ability to travel 50% • Currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis • Employer will not sponsor applicants for work visas
