📋 Description

• Prepare and post journal entries • Reconcile accounts • Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes • Maintain general ledger accounts and proper documentation of financial transactions • Complete monthly reporting • Assist the Accounting Manager with audit processes • Coordinate the integration of new properties into the accounting workflow • Oversee the accuracy and productivity of property management accounting and financial activities • Ensure accounting reporting and scheduled check runs are accurate and deadlines are met • Provide insightful analysis of monthly financial reports • Identify issues and improve processes and efficiency • Share accounting knowledge and assist with training and development of new accountants

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum of 2+ years of progressive property accounting experience within the commercial real estate industry • Ability to work with computer applications, including Excel, Word, and Yardi • MRI Third Party Management experience • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills • Must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis • Employer will not sponsor applicants for work visas
