📋 Description

• Maintain and enhance category spend baselines, purchase price variance tracking, and savings pipeline for Packaging and Resin categories • Validate reported savings against Finance-approved methodology and translate results into P&L impact • Track feedstock and packaging market indices and publish recurring market outlooks • Build and maintain should-cost, total-cost-of-ownership, and LPP models incorporating yield, scrap, freight, and quality factors • Prepare RFx packages, baseline and bid analyses, and scenario/award optimization models • Support negotiation preparation with supplier fact packs, financial health assessments, and market intelligence • Administer index-linked and formula-based pricing frameworks • Verify contractual price adjustments, maintain contract pricing in ERP and e-procurement systems, and resolve price and invoice discrepancies with suppliers and Accounts Payable • Produce supplier scorecards and KPI dashboards covering quality, delivery, competitiveness, and sustainability metrics • Support quarterly business reviews with data preparation and trend analysis • Develop and maintain visual reporting and analytics tools such as Power BI • Partner with category managers, plant procurement, planning, Finance, R&D, and Quality • Support new material qualifications and execution of centrally negotiated agreements at site level • Collaborate with the Procurement COE team on analytics and eSourcing tools and techniques • Provide analytical and operational support to global Packaging and Resin commodity categories

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or a related highly analytical discipline • 2–4 years of progressive experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, supply chain, or financial/commodity analysis, preferably supporting direct materials categories • Demonstrated experience in spend analysis, cost modeling, and data-driven reporting in support of sourcing or category management decisions • Working knowledge of commodity-driven pricing mechanisms, including index-linked and formula-based contracting, and market fundamentals for resins, polymers, or packaging materials • Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency, including pivot modeling and Power Query • Experience with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle • Experience with e-procurement tools such as Coupa, Ariba, or Rosslyn • Proficiency with data visualization and reporting tools such as Power BI or Tableau • Experience with AI tools to leverage data and action plans • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment • Ability to adapt to changing situations, new information, and unexpected challenges • Ability to travel up to 10% • APICS or ISM certification, such as CPIM or CPSM, is a plus • Remote work based in the US; preferred locations include Atlanta, GA and Richmond, VA
