📋 Description

• Serve as the Cortex portfolio expert for SOC Transformation • Define technical solutions that secure customers’ key business imperatives • Evangelize Security Intelligence and Automation, XDR, Attack Surface Management, SOAR, and Incident Response solutions • Collaborate with account teams to recommend and develop customer solutions • Present to customers from practitioner through senior leadership levels • Serve as the main technical contact for Cortex in RFIs/RFPs • Lead and support customer demonstrations • Scope and lead Proof of Value projects for prospective customers and partners • Drive technical validation and Proof of Value win rates • Discuss product alignment, customer requirements, and competitive differentiation • Architect solutions that strengthen and simplify customers’ security posture • Document High-Level Designs and Key Use Cases • Help customers build and develop services around Cortex solutions • Lead discussions on industry trends and changes in the security landscape • Position Palo Alto Networks or partner-delivered services for implementation and value realization • Initiate projects to improve team performance and help others adopt organizational policies • Convey customer feedback to Product Management, Technical Marketing, competitor intelligence, and R&D

🎯 Requirements

• 6+ years experience in Security Operations or pre-sales/sales engineering within SIEM, SOAR, SOC, and/or XDR/EDR environments • IBM QRadar design, deployment, and/or pre-sales experience highly desirable • Experience working with customers • Demonstrated problem-solving skills and a can-do attitude • Solid understanding of Security Operations Center processes • Advanced knowledge of SIEM and/or SOAR solutions • Scripting experience is a plus; Python preferred • Proficient in English • Immigration sponsorship is not available; applicants must not require employer-sponsored work visas
