📋 Description

• Lead compliance consulting projects with clients to achieve compliance targets such as NIST 800-171 and SOC 2 • Perform risk assessments and identify IT controls for significant processes • Analyze risk and support risk assessment activities • Assess technical implementation details necessary to evaluate security controls • Develop and oversee corrective action plans for security compliance issues • Research and evaluate new compliance requirements and present them to stakeholders • Partner with team members and clients to align security programs with compliance requirements • Align and codify controls to demonstrate mitigation of information security risk • Assess vendors for security risk and provision application access • Manage the information security compliance program and ensure IT activities, processes, and procedures meet requirements, policies, and regulations • Create and manage internal and external policies • Manage SOC 2 Type 2 compliance documentation • Assist with SOC ticket escalation processes • Manage vulnerability scan schedules and create remediation tickets

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of IT skills with high level of information security experience and expertise • Knowledge of information security risk management frameworks and compliance practices • Knowledge of securing network technologies, client, and server operating systems • Ability to develop security standards and guidelines based on best practices and industry standards • Ability to explain technical details to non-technical staff • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills, including formal report writing experience • Strong sense of ethics • GRC certification a plus (GRCP, CRISC, CGRC-IT)
