📋 Description

• Review contractor invoices for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with contract terms • Track budget execution and support basic financial reporting for assigned task areas • Perform data entry and reconciliation in agency financial management systems • Prepare routine financial status reports and briefing materials • Assist senior analysts with cost/price analysis worksheets during acquisition actions • Maintain financial documentation according to agency recordkeeping requirements • Support DOI IBC-AQD Mission Support Services and acquisition and program operations

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, or related field plus 0–2 years of relevant experience, or 4 years of directly relevant experience in lieu of a degree • Ability to obtain and maintain a Moderate Risk Public Trust determination • U.S. citizenship required to support this federal contract • Basic understanding of federal budget execution and appropriations concepts • Proficiency with MS Excel for data tracking and basic financial analysis • Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy • Exposure to federal financial management systems (e.g., FBMS or comparable ERP platforms) preferred • Coursework or certification in federal financial management preferred • Prior experience supporting a federal contract or agency finance office preferred
