📋 Description

• Define and execute the multi-year product strategy and roadmap for PathAI algorithm products within a key business unit or disease area • Conduct product explorations, build business cases, define requirements, oversee prototyping, and lead cross-functional deployment of new AI products and product line extensions • Partner with AI/ML engineers, data scientists, clinical specialists, product designers, and pathologists to translate algorithmic discoveries into scalable clinical and research tools • Build business cases for novel technical, scientific, and platform capabilities • Collaborate with Clinical Affairs, Quality, and Regulatory teams on validation strategies, including SaMD considerations, for clinical trials and regulatory pathways • Lead zero-to-one product initiatives and scale existing algorithm portfolios

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Computer Science, Computational Biology, Biomedical Engineering, Biology, or a related technical/scientific field • 7+ years of experience in product management • Track record of launching and scaling production AI/ML, data science, or bioinformatics products • Experience driving product development within healthcare, life sciences, digital pathology, or biotech domains • Understanding of the end-to-end AI/ML product lifecycle, including model development, dataset curation, evaluation metrics, and post-launch algorithm monitoring • Exceptional cross-functional collaboration and communication skills • Ability to influence stakeholders across technical, scientific, clinical, and executive teams • Preferred: experience with Software as a Medical Device (SaMD) and regulatory frameworks such as FDA 510(k)/PMA pathways and CE-IVD • Preferred: subject matter expertise or background in oncology, histopathology, or biomarker discovery • Preferred: experience building products for translational research, biopharma partnerships, or clinical trial operations • Preferred: excellent organizational skills and ability to manage changing projects and priorities
