📋 Description

• Build and maintain a pipeline of subject matter expert advisors • Plan, conduct, and synthesize research studies, including landscape scans and usability tests • Support early-stage exploration of new product areas, industries, and user pain points • Run usability testing on product features before release and identify user-experience improvements • Gather curriculum input from subject matter experts and identify ways to tailor or improve courses • Monitor released features and curriculum using quantitative user data, surveys, user interviews, and session replays • Feed research insights back to product and curriculum teams • Design product research processes and identify automation or process changes to improve efficiency • Source and screen subject matter expert advisors • Organize research files and findings and manage research logistics, including scheduling and compensation • Help stakeholders address research insights and build and user-test prototypes • Maintain advisor relationships and coordinate communication with Pathstream stakeholders • Serve as a voice of the customer for teams building and testing new user experiences • Collaborate with Product, Design, Learning Experience Design, and go-to-market teams

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years experience in research, data, insights roles such as consulting, venture or impact investing, user research, or similar work involving a portfolio of varied responsibilities • Comfortable working from limited information and familiar with qualitative and quantitative research methods • Experience operating in a startup or on a small team • Ownership mindset and ability to run with loosely defined or co-created project requirements • Experience synthesizing research into actionable insights • Ability to effectively translate what users say or what data shows to internal teams making decisions • Experience with ideating and implementing research operations • Familiarity with research repositories, survey platforms, user recruitment networks, transcription and tagging tools • Existing knowledge or experience researching the financial services industry, frontline workers, or both (bonus) • Experience using latest AI tools relevant to product research and design (bonus)
