📋 Description

• Perform daily bank reconciliations for payroll, tax, and benefit accounts • Review and validate deposits, withdrawals, and other bank-related financial transactions • Investigate and resolve discrepancies between bank statements, cash balance accounts, and outstanding items • Monitor daily and weekly cash balances by client and across the total client base • Ensure remittances are made timely and cash collections are properly recorded and cleared • Make cash adjustments based on reports • Collaborate with internal partners to coordinate system fixes • Work with the bank on returned items and inquiries • Report payroll, tax, and benefit exceptions to partners for review and resolution • Reconcile incoming wires/ACHs for payroll and tax accounts • Review and reconcile client credits • Provide proof of payments to the Tax Department • Assist with monthly financial reconciliations • Monitor incoming CFA team email accounts and ensure timely responses • Suggest and write procedures to enhance processes • Drive continued process improvement • Assist with new business initiatives

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting • 2-5+ years' experience in payroll service or banking operations strongly desired • MasterTax, WEX, CobraPoint experience a plus • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment • Strong attention to detail • Strong team and individual work ethic preferred • Strong communication skills and problem-solving ability • Proficiency in Microsoft applications, including Excel and Access • High level of integrity • Ability to sit for extended periods, typically 7-8 hours a day • Ability to operate computer and phone systems and type • Ability to use multiple software programs and inquiries simultaneously • Must be available five days per week during designated work hours • Must work from home or location of record within the U.S.
