📋 Description

• Lead and manage Product, Technology, and Lean Management projects • Work with Product Owners, IT resources, business stakeholders, and executive leadership to scope projects • Develop and implement project plans • Deliver projects on time and on budget • Lead project team members throughout the project lifecycle • Develop, implement, and execute project planning efforts • Manage a portfolio of high-exposure and complex technology-focused initiatives • Facilitate project kickoff meetings, weekly status meetings, work breakdown, status tracking, reporting, and closure activities • Allocate and reallocate tasks to appropriate team members • Escalate issues and remove barriers that present project risks • Resolve project team issues and make decisions in collaboration with PCS management • Establish project execution standards and meeting cadences • Use project management tools consistently with program management guidelines • Partner with Product Owners and IT resources on technology-focused projects • Perform quality control throughout project development • Manage new project intake requests and change controls • Drive decision-making on project scope, costs, resources, and schedules with internal and external stakeholders • Improve project management practices and tools across the organization • Coach team members, business partners, and stakeholders on project management best practices • Lead ROI calculation discussions and document forecasted returns • Communicate with senior leadership to align projects with organizational goals

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, management information systems, computer science, or related field highly desired • 5+ years of expert project management experience in financial services • Project Management certifications, including PMP, CSM and/or SAFE Agilist, highly desired • Understanding of agile and waterfall methodologies • Experience leading agile scrum teams in a remote environment • Preferably at least 2 years of experience being a SCRUM master • Experience managing cross-functional remote project teams of various sizes • Understanding of project management techniques dependent on team size • Proven experience with business and technical analysis • Proven experience with business process modeling/mapping • Excellent judgment and decision-making skills • Ability to work under continual deadline pressure • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and collaborate across geographically distributed remote teams • Excellent listening, written and verbal communication and presentation skills • Experience presenting to senior executives, decision makers, and external stakeholders • Ability to work independently with minimal direction and work through ambiguity • Excellent analytical and creative problem-solving skills • Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, Salesforce, and MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) • Family care must be in place during business hours for virtual remote work • Internet work speed of 50 MBps or better for individual use
