📋 Description

• Act as a lead team member supporting and supervising on-site field work focused on safety, quality, and efficiency • Perform up-tower repairs and diagnostics on medium and major wind turbine components • Support lifting operations for equipment at heights over 250 feet • Oversee lifting operations after skills verification of large components • Create, review, correct, and amend lifting plans • Conduct safe and efficient repairs to wind turbine electrical systems • Perform Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) as an authorized person • Conduct pre-task planning, Job Hazard Analyses, Risk Assessments, and daily safety discussions • Interact professionally with vendors and customers • Document work electronically • Provide feedback to the Safety and Quality department for business improvements

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years of direct experience on any platforms • Direct turbine-specific experience required • Main Component Exchange (MCE) experience required • Knowledge of lifting operations • Ability to read and interpret schematics from various wind turbine manufacturers • Detailed knowledge and skill in generators, converters, controllers, and electrical equipment • Ability to recognize potential issues and major faults • Must be proficient in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English; interpreter services are not available • Ability and willingness to climb a wind turbine vertically at least 300 feet • Maintain a weight between 120 and 280 pounds, including clothing and boots, for OSHA safety compliance • Ability to lift and move equipment weighing more than 50 pounds • Ability to work indoors or outdoors in adverse weather conditions • Willingness to travel 100%
