📋 Description

• Evaluate artifacts submitted by teacher candidates • Internalize scoring standards and participate in discussions • Engage with other scorers in consensus scoring activities • Recognize and discuss implicit, cultural, leniency, central tendency, and halo-effect biases • Use strategies to reduce personal biases in scoring • Meet quality and productivity requirements established for the scoring program • Pass a qualifying test before scoring • Complete an initial facilitated training session and qualification activity • Work independently at times compatible with the scorer's schedule

🎯 Requirements

• Hold an educator certification, have at least three years of teaching experience, and be teaching or have taught within the last three years; OR be an instructor in an institution of higher education who, in the last three years, has taught classes corresponding to the field; OR have continuing experience as a scorer in the content field after meeting one of the above qualifications; OR be a National Board-Certified Educator • Possess basic computer skills, including keyboard and mouse use • Ability to sit for extended periods • Ability to maintain a confidential work environment • Meet scoring-program quality and productivity requirements • Pass a qualifying test before scoring • Available to score Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, or Special Education subjects
