📋 Description

• Evaluate responses to test questions by Florida teacher candidates • Internalize scoring standards • Participate in discussions and engage with other scorers in scoring activities • Meet quality and productivity requirements established for the scoring program • Pass a qualifying test before scoring • Complete training before scoring begins • Attend a brief orientation meeting if required • Work scoring sessions one day every two weeks, Monday through Friday, from 8:30 AM to approximately 4:30 PM EST

🎯 Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree or higher • A current teaching certification in the subject area you are applying for and be practicing or have five (5) or more years’ recent experience in the service role in a public school in the subject area you are applying for • OR a bachelor’s degree or higher, hold or have held a position at a college, university or a community college in the same subject area that they will be scoring, and have at least 5 years of teaching experience in the same subject area you will be scoring • Must be approved to score by the Florida Department of Education • Availability to work on a weekday from 8:30 AM EST to 4:00 PM EST • Basic computer skills (keyboard, mouse) • Ability to sit for extended periods of time • Ability to maintain a confidential work environment • Eligible to work in the United States • English 6-12 subject expertise
