📋 Description

• Evaluate responses to test questions by Georgia teacher candidates • Internalize scoring standards • Participate in discussions and consensus scoring activities with other scorers • Recognize and discuss implicit, cultural, leniency, central tendency, and halo-effect biases • Engage in strategies to reduce personal biases in scoring • Meet scoring-program quality and productivity requirements • Complete training before scoring begins • Attend a possible brief orientation meeting before scoring

🎯 Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree or higher • A current teaching certification in the subject area • Be practicing or have two (2) or more years’ recent experience in the service role in a public school in the subject area, OR serve as or have recently served as a college/university/program faculty member who prepares candidates for the subject • Must not be a current Georgia educator/based in the State of Georgia • Basic computer skills (keyboard, mouse) • Ability to sit for extended periods of time • Ability to maintain a confidential work environment • Eligible to work in the United States • Must pass a qualifying test before scoring • Both active and recently retired practitioners can be eligible
