• Prospect aggressively within your territory by visiting job sites, builders, contractors, remodelers, and trade partners • Generate new business through networking, referrals, cold calls, and face-to-face selling • Grow and manage a book of business with clear focus on new account acquisition and revenue expansion • Influence product selection through consultative selling, specifications, and value-driven solutions • Represent Pella at builder events, trade shows, association meetings, and customer events • Partner with internal operations, service, and quoting teams to ensure smooth execution post-sale • Maintain accurate pipeline, activity tracking, and forecasting in CRM • Consistently achieve or exceed sales, profitability, and customer satisfaction targets
• 4+ years of outside B2B sales or territory management experience • Experience selling building materials, construction products, or related solutions • Comfortable calling on job sites, contractor offices, and end users • Proven ability to open new accounts and develop long-term customer relationships • Strong negotiation, objection-handling, and closing skills • Ability to read blueprints, understand job specs, and discuss installation requirements • High level of independence, organization, and time management
