📋 Description

• Conduct daily travel for in-person background investigations determining employment suitability for people requiring access to sensitive or classified U.S. Government information • Schedule and conduct face-to-face interviews with subjects, neighbors, employers, and friends • Perform record searches at police agencies, courthouses, educational and financial institutions, and medical/mental health facilities • Type and report obtained information clearly and concisely using a government-issued computer system • Work independently while collaborating with investigator teams and a Field Manager • Conduct fieldwork while meeting attendance, punctuality, confidentiality, ethics, integrity, and attention-to-detail expectations • Wear professional attire and perform required physical activities and driving

🎯 Requirements

• Must be currently credentialed on DHS • 4 years of general work experience and HS Diploma • Must hold active federal background investigation with a T5 adjudication or Top Secret eligible clearance • U.S. citizenship • Active NTS (National Training Standards) certification from NIT (New Investigator Training) • Applicants must reside within 10 miles of Miami • Accurate and efficient typing capabilities (40+ WPM recommended) • Ability to work within multiple computer programs concurrently • Ability to speak for extended periods and hear sufficiently to communicate in person and over the phone • Ability to record, read and transcribe words and numbers with a high degree of accuracy • Proficient grammar and writing skills • Ability to interact professionally with others and maintain confidentiality, ethics, and integrity • Ability to lift and move up to 10 pounds, climb stairs, walk extensively, and endure long periods of standing and sitting • Valid driver's license and full-time usage of reliable transportation • Sufficient motor vehicle insurance • Ability to work remotely under supervision and undertake TDY/remote travel ranging from 14–30 days away from home per assignment
