📋 Description

• Ensure compliance with CMS ARS, DISA STIG, and FISMA security policies, procedures, and directives • Maintain oversight and compliance of information systems through technical reviews and system auditing • Interface with program management and customers on security requirements implementation, documentation, and classification management • Provide information systems security guidance, awareness, and training • Participate in customer security inspections, audits, and reviews • Manage, develop, prepare, implement, and maintain security plans, SOPs, security tests, and evaluation plans • Collaborate with internal and external security teams and IT staff to ensure secure operation of accredited information systems • Provide account-based information security access management for data sets, user IDs, CICS transactions/applications, resources, and certificates • Provide account-based security reporting, access control administration, recertification reviews, and security violation monitoring • Review active and inactive mainframe logon-ID reports • Analyze customer security requirements and recommend improvements to security processes and documentation • Support the design and testing of information security products and solutions • Identify and recommend program or system modifications to prevent security exposures • Promote information security compliance with client security standards • Participate in security audits, interviews, and evidence/report preparation • Investigate noncompliance and alerts with System Security Officers, escalating appropriately • Assist with migrations, implementations, and investigations • Keep abreast of industry best practices, trends, and new technologies and advise on implementation

🎯 Requirements

• 2 years with BS/BA; 0 years with MS/MA; 6 years with HS Diploma/equivalent • U.S. Citizenship • Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance • Working z/OS RACF and ACF2 security skills • Ability to review, correct, and coach others on mainframe security • Working knowledge of z/OS JCL, TSO, batch processing, and job troubleshooting • Hands-on experience with Vanguard security tools • Ability to create and interpret detailed security reporting • Strong written and verbal communication • Ability to coordinate with and support technicians, system admins, developers, business analysts, and on-call staff • Knowledge of z/OS security compliance, including DISA STIG and FISMA controls • Experience participating in security compliance audits, discussing policy, presenting evidence, and researching non-compliance • Experience provisioning and maintaining SSL certificates • Experience with SNOW ticketing systems
