📋 Description

• Serve as lead architect on mid-size federal civilian pursuits ($25M–$100M TCV) and key contributor on larger pursuits ($100M+) under a Principal Architect • Design enterprise architectures across cloud, application modernization, cybersecurity, data/AI, IT operations, and managed services tailored to customer missions • Lead technical workstreams within solutioning sessions • Coordinate with capture teams, partners, and subject matter experts to develop integrated solution components • Author and review technical proposal volumes for compelling, compliant content aligned to evaluation criteria • Develop architecture artifacts including system diagrams, integration approaches, transition plans, and technical narratives • Conduct competitive technical analysis and contribute discriminators to strengthen solution positioning • Engage with federal customers to understand mission requirements, technology environments, and strategic direction • Evaluate Peraton Labs capabilities, partner technologies, and emerging tools for inclusion in solutions • Present technical solutions to internal and external stakeholders

🎯 Requirements

• BS/BA degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or related field • Minimum 12 years’ experience • 8+ years in enterprise IT solution architecture or technical leadership • 3+ years as a solution architect on enterprise-level pursuits ($25M+ TCV) with significant solution design responsibility • Architecture experience across at least three domains, including cloud, application modernization, cybersecurity/zero trust, data/AI-ML, IT operations, DevSecOps, or enterprise platforms • Track record of contributing to winning competitive proposals and translating customer requirements into deliverable solutions • Experience presenting architectures to internal leadership, gate review panels, and federal customers • Working understanding of federal acquisition processes, evaluation methodologies, and compliance frameworks (FedRAMP, FISMA, NIST, CMMC) • Strong technical writing and communication skills for technical and executive audiences • US Citizenship required • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance • Preferred: Master’s degree in CS, Engineering, Cybersecurity, or related field • Preferred: Professional certifications such as AWS Solutions Architect Associate/Professional, Azure Solutions Architect, CISSP, TOGAF, or SAFe Architect • Preferred: Experience with federal civilian agencies • Preferred: Experience with generative AI, agentic AI, post-quantum cryptography, AIOps, and other emerging technologies • Preferred: Background in ITIL, Agile/SAFe delivery, DevSecOps CI/CD, and price-to-win analysis
