📋 Description

• Support quality management at supplier facilities and job sites • Maintain and continuously improve Peterson Power’s quality program • Support large, complex, longer-duration design/build engineering projects • Maintain and communicate quality documents to meet project objectives • Establish and implement quality best practices for stakeholders • Work with suppliers to ensure equipment quality standards are met • Collaborate with clients and Caterpillar to assess supplier quality • Assist Sales and Operations teams with quality processes and activities • Support Project Managers with start-up and commissioning document completion • Oversee project issue logs, inspections, quality records, and final reports • Perform shop tests, site tests, quality inspections, and End-Of-Line inspections • Provide technical quality and commissioning support to suppliers, vendors, customers, and sales teams • Respond to customer quality needs under the direction of the Quality Manager • Use CxAlloy and SharePoint in daily activities • Execute supplier quality assessments and audits • Perform quality management system audits at suppliers on behalf of customers • Provide quality reports to the Quality Manager • Travel to customer job sites, vendor and supplier sites, and Peterson Power team meetings

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree from a fully accredited college in Business or another closely related field • Minimum of five (5) years of directly related experience in quality management in the construction industry • Equivalent combination of education and work experience accepted • Quality-related certifications preferred, such as Certified Quality Inspector, Certified Quality Technician, Certified Quality Engineer, or Six Sigma Green/Yellow/Black Belt • Valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record required • Drug screen and background check required • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time • Experience or ability to utilize CxAlloy and SharePoint
