📋 Description

• Lead and coach the Rare Disease Key Account Management Regional team • Execute a patient-first approach while impacting aligned market and brand goals • Coach direct reports to develop and execute strategic account plans aligned with Pfizer and customers • Provide and coach cross-functional leadership using account and customer information • Work with the Rare Disease KAM leadership team and stakeholders across field medical, marketing, sales, HIT, and patient solutions • Provide leadership for KAM Advisory or Integrated Product Teams • Shape compliant KAM strategy and tactics aligned to brand goals with brand team and FMO leadership • Provide day-to-day leadership and management of Account Management colleagues • Align colleagues to brand/market goals, KPIs, and performance management • Handle personnel issues and serve as final escalation point for regional Account Management roles • Lead execution of business and account priorities within the region • Leverage the full account team model and customer engagement strategies to drive business performance • Deliver documented competency-based coaching and support team development • Manage regional budgets • Maintain technical, environmental, and Account Management expertise to respond accurately and compliantly to questions • Recruit and select Account Management candidates in compliance with Pfizer requirements • Develop therapeutic-area goals, strategies, and tactics with cross-functional partners • Lead special projects supporting KAM executional excellence • Travel up to 40%, including overnight travel for internal meetings, customer meetings, and conferences

🎯 Requirements

• BA/BS degree required • 12+ years of previous pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical marketing/sales experience • Experience in Account Management/Key Account Management • At least three years spent in a promoted position with demonstrated leadership of teams • Previous leadership/supervisory experience • Ability to develop and motivate others, lead through change, and deliver on business imperatives • Proven track record of performance and meeting organizational goals • Experience managing diverse teams of colleagues with different grades and responsibilities • Proven ability to manage performance and develop talent • Strong understanding of the pharmaceutical business and environmental and business trends impacting the pharmaceutical industry • Strong organizational and analytical skills, including ability to analyze approved Account Management metrics and measurements • Strong communication skills • Excellent facilitation skills • Strong project management skills • Ability to influence and collaborate with peers, develop and coach others, and oversee and guide colleagues • Must be authorized to be employed in the U.S. by any employer • Permanent work authorization in the United States required • U.S. work visa sponsorship is not available now or in the future
