• Launch new products • Decide the best strategies for managing business relationships • Understand formulary access • Engage in product promotion within assigned accounts • Drive sales efforts and relationship development with assigned customers and accounts, including Therapeutic Area Specialists and Key Opinion Leaders • Identify and implement efficient virtual and in-person engagement strategies • Develop and implement business and territory call plans and adapt them based on opportunities and insights • Build rapport and relationships with customers across virtual and face-to-face environments • Manage call objectives, next steps, documentation and KPIs • Use Veeva Engage, Zoom, Microsoft Office and other digital tools for customer engagement • Leverage analytics to develop insights and next-best-action plans • Engage key customers compliantly to grow business and drive product demand • Deliver targeted messaging using approved materials • Provide product and disease-state education to providers • Work with healthcare professionals and office staff to plan virtual and in-person engagements • Deploy approved Pfizer resources, including samples, vouchers, co-pay resources and patient education • Plan and optimize call environments across multiple locations • Collaborate with Customer-Facing colleagues and Pfizer Connect team members • Support patient access by providing information on reimbursement, PAP, Pfizer hub programs and co-pay resources • Present approved terms of sale and contract terms • Answer on-label questions • Introduce customers to Pfizer’s Galaxy on-demand portal • Collaborate with Field Medical, Reimbursement and Key Account Management • Use triaging protocols and digital applications to connect subject matter experts with customers • Use calendaring tools, leadership goals and customer insights to address priorities • Bring customer survey insights to leadership to improve the engagement model
• A Bachelor’s Degree OR an associate’s degree with 8+ years of experience OR a high school diploma (or equivalent) with 10+ years of relevant experience • Minimum 3 years relevant experience, including professional sales, healthcare professional experience, or business-related experience such as sales, customer service, marketing, finance or HR • History of marketing, promotional or sales success • Strong territory management skills • Outstanding communications skills • Demonstrated teamwork, leadership ability and accountability • Valid US driver’s license and driving record compliant with company standards • Any DUI/DWI or other impaired driving citation within the past 7 years will disqualify hiring • 3–5 years specialty marketing/promotional/sales experience preferred • Strong knowledge of disease states, therapeutic areas and products • Deep knowledge of applicable customers and markets • Strategic account marketing, promotional, sales and management skills • Experience developing territory, account and customer plans • Ability to maintain relationships throughout institutions • Ability to overcome obstacles to access difficult-to-see healthcare providers and customers • Ability to cultivate relationships with KOLs and priority customers • Marketing, promotional, sales, technical and relationship-building skills • Track record of assessing account needs and providing relevant information and resources • Business acumen, problem-solving, strategic thinking, data analytics and project management skills • Planning and prioritization skills • Ability to engage, influence and support customers throughout marketing, promotional and sales processes • Excellent communication, interpersonal and leadership skills • Ability to quickly learn and embrace new ways of working • Ability to work in a matrix environment and leverage multiple resources • Track record of leadership, cross-functional leadership, collaboration and effective resource utilization • Experience with key thought leaders or high-influence customers in large group practices, hospitals or managed care organizations preferred • Strong organizational and analytical skills • Ability to analyze sales data and call-reporting software/applications • Ability to learn and use new technology • Change agility and adaptability • Exceptional time management, planning and organizing skills • Must live in TX (Houston, Sugarland, Cypress) • Must be authorized to be employed in the U.S. by any employer • Permanent work authorization in the United States required • U.S. work visa sponsorship is not available now or in the future
