📋 Description

• Lead development and execution of the Advanced Technology & Innovation roadmap • Align innovation initiatives with business and clinical priorities • Serve as senior technical advisor on innovation strategy and future technology investments • Identify, evaluate, and advance emerging technologies focused on AI, advanced algorithms, imaging, biomedical optics, computational modeling, and data-driven solutions • Drive innovation from concept and feasibility through product development and commercialization • Provide technical leadership for strategic technology platforms and product initiatives • Contribute to prototyping, algorithm development, system design, and transition of technologies into regulated medical devices • Build, lead, and mentor a multidisciplinary Advanced Technology team • Recruit and develop engineering and scientific talent and leverage global capabilities and external partnerships • Partner with Intellectual Property teams on invention disclosures, patent development, and technology landscape assessments

🎯 Requirements

• Extensive experience developing innovative medical device and/or medical imaging technologies • Demonstrated success translating research and innovation into commercial products • Proven track record leading multidisciplinary engineering teams • Deep expertise in one or more of: AI/Machine Learning, Medical Imaging, Biomedical Optics, Advanced Algorithms, and Computational Modeling • PhD in Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Optical Engineering, Applied Physics, or a related field; a Master’s degree with significant relevant industry experience will also be considered • Excellent communication and collaboration skills • US work authorization required; candidates requiring sponsorship now or in the future will not be considered • Ability to meet minimum physical, cognitive, and environmental job requirements with or without accommodation
