📋 Description

• Serve as the primary point of contact and relationship owner with the VA Operations lead • Maintain and refine a prioritized roadmap across approximately 15 Operations projects • Facilitate prioritization discussions using ROI, risk, technical dependencies, and VA-wide mandates • Manage 3–4 concurrent projects from initiation through delivery • Oversee delivery across Linux and Windows servers, Oracle, Salesforce, MuleSoft, and AWS Lambda environments • Assess staffing needs and evaluate resumes and qualifications for infrastructure, security, and DevSecOps roles • Validate proposed solutions, staffing plans, and estimates with technical leads and delivery teams • Support cost proposals and rough order of magnitude estimates for new Operations projects • Identify, track, and manage portfolio risks, issues, and dependencies • Coordinate cross-portfolio impacts and shared resource or infrastructure dependencies • Own project-level status, burn rate, schedule, and risk reporting • Maintain the Operations backlog in Jira or equivalent • Support onboarding and ramp-up of new project staff • Contribute to continuous improvement of roadmapping, estimating, and delivery processes

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and 7 years of relevant experience managing technology products and/or projects • Associate's Degree with an additional 2 years of experience • High school diploma with an additional 4 years of experience • Demonstrated experience managing infrastructure, security, or IT operations-focused technology projects • Working familiarity with Linux and Windows server administration, Oracle, Salesforce, MuleSoft, and AWS Lambda/serverless services • Experience building and maintaining product/project roadmaps and prioritizing multi-project portfolios • Experience managing 3 or more concurrent projects • Experience reviewing technical resumes and assessing infrastructure, security, or engineering candidates • Experience contributing to cost proposals, estimates, or statements of work • Strong working knowledge of Agile delivery practices, Jira, and Confluence • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills • Ability to assess and communicate cross-program impacts • Experience supporting the Department of Veterans Affairs or other federal clients preferred • CyberArk/PAM and secrets management familiarity preferred • PMP, CSM/PSM, or equivalent certification preferred • Must be eligible to obtain a Public Trust clearance
