📋 Description

• Lead a team of Adjusters and Specialists • Monitor workloads and provide supervisory oversight for individual claim activities • Provide technical and jurisdictional direction on claims adjudication • Review and approve claim denials, payments, settlements, trials, and reserve requests • Perform claim audits for statutory/regulatory compliance, internal procedures, guidelines, and quality expectations • Ensure reserves are adequately set for probable claim outcomes • Conduct leader reviews and provide feedback and recommendations on claim files • Resolve escalated agent, broker, policyholder complaints, and concerns • Identify problematic trends and develop corrective processes • Complete additional projects at the manager’s discretion • Ensure quality, accuracy, and timely resolution of claims, including high-exposure and complex cases • Promote department goals and objectives • Monitor workflows, claims processes, metrics, triage, and caseloads • Build and promote customer service excellence • Hire and develop adjusters and identify opportunities to strengthen skills • Work directly with the Claims Manager to achieve team and departmental goals

🎯 Requirements

• 2+ years of adjusting claims at a senior level • California workers’ compensation claims experience is required • Additional experience in AZ, NM, NV, OR, or UT is a plus • Comprehensive knowledge of workers compensation in multiple states, general insurance policy coverage, and state case laws • Advanced written, verbal, and presentation communication skills • Advanced problem-solving skills for complex situations • Intermediate awareness of own tasks and impact on team and deliverables • Advanced leadership skills focused on direct-report growth and development • G-Suite tools, collaboration tools, and Microsoft Office Suite • High School diploma or GED required • Bachelor's Degree preferred • Must live and work in the United States, territories excluded • Reliable, high-speed internet access
