📋 Description

• Provide data and reporting support to the Data Analyst Team Lead • Assist in identifying unprofitable risk segments and opportunities to reduce premium leakage across all lines of business • Perform data analysis and create reports to support data-informed business decisions • Support monitoring of underwriting production and goals • Generate on-demand reports and create standardized reporting templates • Ensure data accuracy and support the premium leakage initiative • Work with AIS leaders on process improvements, system changes, and innovative ideas • Define analysis needs and work within project plans covering business objectives, data scope, research methodology, resources, and timelines • Create, monitor, audit, and analyze recurring reports on CSR and Sales Agent productivity, system behavior, call handling, and AIS processes • Identify efficiency improvements and prepare reports, graphs, and charts • Coordinate and execute reporting and support AIS users and leaders in identifying data needed for reporting • Use MicroStrategy, Power BI, Winbroker II, Amazon Connect, Taske, and Mercury's Enterprise Data Warehouse • Assist in developing and administering current and future goals within AIS departments • Perform additional functions assigned by the Data Analyst Team Lead

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree; preferably in Business Administration, Mathematics, or Statistics • Coursework in statistics or business analytics • At least 3 years of insurance-related experience, preferably in an analytical role • SAS and SQL training • Or equivalent combination of education and experience • Proficiency in data analysis and reporting using Excel, SQL, and Power BI • Strong knowledge of VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, pivot tables, charts, data sorting, and conditional formatting • Experience using Power BI or similar tools such as Tableau • Familiarity with DAX for Power BI or VisQL for Tableau • Knowledge of SQL, including inner and outer joins, lag/lead functions, case statements, and basic data modeling/design • Basic experience with UiPath or Power Automate • General understanding of the Property & Casualty Insurance industry, including Home, Auto, and Commercial product lines • Experience with underwriting practices, procedures, and premium and loss ratio analysis • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Ability to produce quality work within tight timeframes and manage multiple projects • Self-starter able to learn new responsibilities and technologies • Ability to work a flexible schedule and travel as needed, including occasional overnight or weekend stays • Ability to adhere to privacy policies and securely handle sensitive data • Required to learn SQL, SAS, and potentially R coding if not already familiar • Designated workspace free from noise and distractions • Remote office internet connection via ISP or Cable Modem • High-speed internet access required
