📋 Description

• Meet with Government clients to understand business needs and define data engineering and analysis objectives • Identify data sources and develop robust data integration and processing workflows • Design and implement data pipelines, ETL processes, and database structures • Perform data cleaning, transformation, and exploratory analysis • Build scalable and reliable data pipelines with data scientists and software engineers • Develop and maintain models and views for data access, visualization, and analysis • Optimize data storage, indexing, and query performance • Present findings and solutions to clients • Explain complex analytical concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders • Take ownership of tasks and deliver high-quality work with minimal supervision • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s in Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or other quantitative field, or equivalent experience • 2–5 years of experience in data engineering, database management, and analytical methodologies • Experience designing and implementing data processing solutions with relational or unstructured data • Experience with structured databases and query languages such as PL/SQL, Postgres, or MySQL • Experience optimizing SQL queries • Experience with Spark or Hadoop preferred • Familiarity with SAS, R, or Stata helpful but not required • Experience with at least one object-oriented programming language such as Python, Java, or Scala • Must obtain a Public Trust Clearance • U.S. Citizenship required • Must pass a background check • Strong technical project and teamwork capabilities • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Ability to synthesize client and team needs into actionable work products or analytical plans • Strong client and team interaction skills • Critical thinking and excellent attention to detail • Ability to work extended periods at a computer and establish a productive professional workspace • May be required to work outside normal business hours and travel
