📋 Description

• Analyze and comprehend requirements • Write detailed test cases covering requirements • Ensure all requirements are mapped to test cases • Understand project architecture, test environment, and test data needs • Conduct positive, negative, validation, exploratory, regression, and data migration testing • Perform verification and validation, integration testing, and data integrity testing • Test system interoperability across distributed components from the start to end of business processes • Test database persistence, web services connectivity, and data transfer between systems • Conduct negative testing to verify proper error processing • Identify and disposition defects according to standards and processes • Write detailed status reports and test execution reports • Write test analysis reports upon completion of testing • Work independently and collaboratively with team members and customers • Follow and comply with established standards, processes, and reviews

🎯 Requirements

• Broad and comprehensive experience in the software testing lifecycle • Minimum seven years of experience with software testing and leading test efforts • Experience writing detailed test plans, detailed test cases, and test reports • Experience communicating status and presenting defects to stakeholders • Knowledge of test management and automation tools • Experience with service-oriented architecture (SOA), SOAP or REST message structures, FHIR, and HL7 messages • Experience in Healthcare IT • Good written and oral communication skills • Comprehensive technical expertise in IT products, operating systems, software, hardware, systems, networks, databases, and specialized environments for distributed applications • U.S. Citizenship required • Ability to successfully pass a thorough Government background screening process • Bachelor's degree in a technical, engineering, scientific, managerial, business, or related discipline • Four years of relevant experience or an associate degree plus two years of relevant experience may substitute for a bachelor's degree • Experience testing web services using tools such as SOAPUI, CA DevTest, CAI, or Service Virtualization • Experience with VA healthcare software applications • Experience using IBM Rational toolset and/or OpenText Application Lifecycle Management • Understanding of Agile methodology and continuous integration/continuous deployment models • Experience using InterSystems HealthShare or Ensemble • Experience using Microsoft Office suite • Experience using MS Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook • Experience with communication tools including Teams and SharePoint
