📋 Description

• Coordinate and create Eggplant automation test scripts, including interaction and synchronization with clients, other workstreams/teams, and Oracle Health • Evaluate, recommend, and implement automated test strategies • Create automated test assets, including test scripts, schedules, and frameworks, using Eggplant • Develop, maintain, and upgrade Eggplant test scripts and architectures for application products • Understand project architecture, test environments, and test data needs • Conduct positive, negative, validation, and regression testing • Analyze and comprehend requirements • Identify and disposition defects according to standards and processes • Write detailed status, test execution, and test analysis reports • Design, implement, and conduct test and evaluation procedures to ensure health information technology system requirements are met • Serve as a subject matter specialist providing testing expertise for user requirements of complex to highly complex software/hardware health IT applications • Work independently and in a team setting to promote collaboration with team members and customers • Define, organize, and/or present detailed information and data needed to accomplish organizational and testing goals • Participate in collaborative meetings with the VA EHRM customer, teammates, VA project teams, and other stakeholders

🎯 Requirements

• 3–5 years’ experience with clinical software testing and leading test efforts • 3–4 years’ previous experience working as a testing automation engineer • Experience using test management tools and test automation frameworks, specifically Eggplant • Knowledge of the Oracle Health Millennium healthcare domain • In-depth understanding of clinical workflows, policies, procedures, and patient care/clinical business processes • Broad and comprehensive experience in the software testing lifecycle • Experience writing detailed test plans, test cases, and test reports • Experience communicating status and presenting defects to stakeholders • Excellent oral and written communication skills • U.S. citizenship required • Successful completion of thorough government background screening, including detailed forms and fingerprinting • Experience with Eggplant, MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), Oracle Health Millennium healthcare domain, Teams, and SharePoint • Experience with VA electronic health records is a plus • Experience in a clinical setting and with clinical workflows • Experience with VA healthcare software applications • Business knowledge of healthcare applications • Experience using Agile methodology • Experience with OpenText Application Lifecycle Management is a plus • Experience with OpenText Unified Functional Testing is a plus • Knowledge of risk-based testing methodologies
