📋 Description

• Prioritize product work, write clear specifications, and collaborate with design, engineering, and learning teams to ship • Break work into meaningful increments to de-risk builds and enable learning • Make and clearly communicate tradeoffs involving scope, timelines, and resources • Write detailed requirements aligning design, engineering, and go-to-market teams • Work alongside engineering to understand technical constraints and possibilities • Engage users directly and gather feedback, usage data, and partner insights • Establish product rituals, artifacts, and communication patterns • Create clarity around product decision-making and document effective processes • Translate field feedback into priorities and simpler designs with Learning and Partnerships • Coordinate with design to ensure products are usable • Pressure-test strategic assumptions using product and user evidence • Identify when priorities should shift and make evidence-based cases • Help leadership make better decisions in ambiguous situations • Collaborate with the CTO, engineering, ML, design, and partnerships teams • Shape how educators and students build with AI, including new capabilities, contextual knowledge use, and responsible AI safety systems

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years of product management experience • Experience in at least one early-stage or high-growth environment where process had to be built • Experience leading product development for AI-powered or technically complex products • Ability to work fluently with ML and engineering teams • Ability to write clear specifications and detailed requirements • Ability to ship quickly while de-risking builds and making incremental progress • Comfort with ambiguity and making decisions with incomplete information • Ability to communicate complex tradeoffs to technical and non-technical audiences • Passion for education, equity, or mission-driven work • Bonus: experience in edtech or familiarity with K-12 or higher education environments • Bonus: background working on platforms or tools where users build things • Bonus: experience with responsible AI, content moderation, or trust and safety product work • Bonus: familiarity with the AI/LLM product landscape
