• Coordinate and perform service and preventative maintenance duties for electrolyzers and other hydrogen systems at customer sites • Troubleshoot, repair, and perform general maintenance on field equipment • Travel as needed to customer sites, including short-notice urgent repair visits and up to 100% travel • Operate, commission, and support industrial hydrogen systems and components • Diagnose system problems, troubleshoot failures, and isolate root causes • Read and interpret drawings and P&IDs • Develop and oversee the preventative maintenance program for electrolyzer field equipment • Monitor field equipment performance and recommend and implement design enhancements • Engage with customers, solicit feedback, address concerns, and provide design and operational suggestions • Ensure safe operation of electrolyzer equipment and infrastructure • Communicate with cross-functional departments to improve system designs and resolve defects based on field experience and data • Interface with customers and external vendors while maintaining a customer service focus • Perform other duties as assigned
• Associates degree or vocational degree in engineering technology or other relevant field of study • High school diploma along with 3+ years of relevant work experience may be accepted in lieu of the degree requirement • Superior communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to travel in heavy volume and with short notice as needed (up to 100%) • High level of skill with mechanical systems installation, troubleshooting, and repair • Industrial hydrogen systems experience highly preferred • Ability to diagnose system failures and isolate root cause • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail • Supreme analytical abilities and data analysis skills • Proficiency with Microsoft Office software • Role model for high standards of professionalism • Results-oriented and driven work style • Excellent task-oriented follow-through
