📋 Description

• Build and own the FCM compliance program, including written supervisory procedures across trading and operations, and keep them current as CFTC and NFA rules evolve. • Conduct ongoing gap analyses against CFTC and NFA requirements and bring issues to the CCO with clear recommendations. • Draft, maintain, and update compliance policies and procedures as the business grows and regulatory requirements change. • Serve as the primary point of contact for NFA and CFTC inquiries, coordinating internal document production and ensuring responses are accurate, complete, and timely. • Monitor CFTC and NFA regulatory developments and translate changes into concrete program updates. • Support the CCO on exam preparation, internal reporting, and regulatory filings tied to FCM operations. • Work cross-functionally with trading, operations, and legal to ensure the compliance program reflects actual business operations.

🎯 Requirements

• Direct compliance experience at a CFTC-registered FCM • Deep working knowledge of CFTC and NFA rules • Proven experience drafting written supervisory procedures • Ability to work independently and make sound judgment calls • Clear, direct written communication for regulators, internal stakeholders, and senior leadership • Experience managing an NFA or CFTC examination or formal inquiry from start to finish (plus)
