📋 Description

• Make technologies explainable and legible to humans and agents • Maintain and design knowledge bases • Engineer and orchestrate context pipelines • Build and ship agents powered by context systems • Work on the AI Wizard, an AI onboarding agent for PostHog users • Build custom agents, harnesses, skills, context pipelines, and MCPs for production • Build developer documentation and knowledge-base systems using docs-as-code and AI engineering techniques • Create technical content through documentation, example apps, and video explainers • Create publishing workflows for streams such as the changelog • Work with other teams so they can build on the systems • Switch between prose and code while creating content for humans and context for agents

🎯 Requirements

• Software development experience; formal experience is not required, but production-code experience is required • Proficiency with LLMs, coding agents, MCPs, and current AI engineering tools • Portfolio of technical content, such as a personal website, GitHub profile, YouTube channel, or other work samples • Excellent writing and communication skills • Experience creating educational content for developers • Opinionated perspective on what makes great documentation for humans and AI • Full-stack software development experience through full-time roles, side projects, or open source • Ability to build production services, ship pull requests across codebases and infrastructure, manage a support queue, and participate in code review • Experience building on top of LLMs • Strong understanding and opinions regarding context windows, harnesses, and coding agents • Ability to work laterally across writing documentation, information architecture, diagrams, agents, and CI/CD pipelines • Ability to work reactively, iterate quickly, and ship pull requests as priorities change
