📋 Description

• Research and explain use cases, technical concepts, and engineering processes • Write use case guides, tutorials, technical explainers, and engineering posts • Create content that helps people and agents use PostHog better • Decide what content to write based on company shipping, priorities, and interesting topics • Select the appropriate format, including engineering blogs, SEO explainers, and X threads • Work with engineers and marketers to explain what was built, why it matters, and its relevance to builders • Edit engineers' blog posts when needed • Produce content such as technical deep dives, distributed tracing guides, embedded analytics setup guides, and data warehouse explainers

🎯 Requirements

• Strong writing ability; able to make complicated technical subjects clear, useful, and enjoyable • Portfolio demonstrating technical explainers, engineering posts, tutorials, or similar work for a developer audience • Previous experience writing technical content • Technical curiosity and ability to accurately learn and explain concepts such as logs, traces, data warehouses, APIs, LLMs, and agents • Ability to distinguish genuinely educational content from keyword-driven content • Experience using AI to build things, improve workflows, and assist with writing • Ability to work independently, choose worthwhile topics, develop a point of view, and ship work • Nice to have: experience at a developer tools or B2B SaaS company or another company with a technical audience • Nice to have: side projects or small tools • Nice to have: existing experience using PostHog
