• Answer incoming telephonic, text, and chat inquiries for the National Maternal Mental Health Hotline. • Conduct assessments to determine the nature of contacts. • Provide immediate psychosocial support, evidence-based information, and brief interventions. • Educate help-seekers about perinatal mental health resources and services. • Refer help-seekers to appropriate services and resources within approved directories. • Maintain complete, accurate, detailed, and timely real-time case documentation in Salesforce. • Ensure documentation adheres to established policies and procedures. • Maintain professionalism in the virtual workspace and on communication platforms. • Interact and engage with the remote team, including communicating during shifts via Slack and other assigned mediums. • Ensure help-seeker privacy and confidentiality. • Attend and participate in scheduled meetings, trainings, and development exercises for the Hotline project.
• Fluency in Spanish is required. • Must be a Licensed Mental Health Clinician, Licensed Healthcare Professional with maternal and child health experience, or National or State-Certified Doula, Lactation Consultant, Childbirth Educator, or Peer Specialist. • Two (2) years’ work experience in your profession, working with the maternal and child health population. • Professional liability insurance coverage of at least $1,000,000 per occurrence and $3,000,000 aggregate. • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, Zoom, internet browsers, and search directories. • Ability to manage conflict and tolerate distress while assisting help-seekers. • Ability to multitask and handle potentially unpredictable and high-acuity contacts within the mental health environment. • Ability to work independently and complete assignments within established instructions, routines, and practices. • Ability to adapt to immediate changes in policies, procedures, processes, and guidance. • Must complete and clear a Non–Sensitive Tier II - Moderate Check and Clearance background check administered by HHS. • Must complete all required Postpartum Support International training. • Must be able to commit to the organization’s vision and mission. • Must possess and maintain optimal internet speeds. • Must utilize a quiet and secure office space for privacy and confidentiality. • Must complete the physical and computer-use requirements of the role. • A bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred.
