📋 Description

• Responsible for ongoing maintenance and repair of contracted and non-contracted generator and power distribution equipment • Provide technical support to customers on operational or maintenance aspects • Daily travel with independent work structure • Provide 24x7 'on-call' services as required unless on PTO or Off Call • Perform required preventative maintenance service to equipment under contract as scheduled • Customer contact and interface • Maintain and safeguard company issued equipment, tools, and instruments • Battery installations and replacements • Coordinate and manage on-site subcontractors hired by PSS

🎯 Requirements

• Three years of field experience servicing generator systems • Experience with 500kw+ generators • Proficient with preventative maintenance • Experience retrofitting basic controls, minor ATS repairs, and loadbanking equipment • High School diploma or GED equivalent • Related military experience or equivalent field experience • Ability to perform triennial maintenance • Engine diagnostics, fuel system priming, replacing failed engine components • Operational understanding of Automatic Transfer Systems • Able to troubleshoot and repair with minimal direction • Ability to read and decipher electronic schematics • Experience with advanced generator and electric system controls including Woodward, Beckwith, and PLC equipment • Ability to read and interpret technical instructions, safety manuals, and service manuals • Ability to work with basic mathematical concepts • Must observe all safety standards
