📋 Description

• Oversee overall financial management and forecasting for the client portfolio • Supervise monthly project accounting efforts and lead monthly status meetings with project managers • Manage new contract engagements and assess contracts/projects for accurate setup • Guide the Client Finance team on project tracking, budgets and funds • Report and present project financials to project leads and stakeholders • Manage new client setup, review MSAs for rebates and discounts, and collaborate with legal and cross-functional leads • Manage intercompany contract executions, cost allocations, project budgets and scope changes • Ensure project revenue compliance with client contracts and proper revenue recognition under GAAP • Prepare monthly revenue forecasts and compare results with budget/plan • Manage project hours, expenses, invoicing, accruals, unbilled revenue aging and past-due accounts receivable • Review subcontractor expenses, agreements and forecasts • Review general ledger reconciliations, expense reports, invoices and credit card bookings • Assist with annual budgeting, ad hoc projects and business development variance analysis • Manage audit timelines, communications, supporting documents and schedules • Improve processes, policies and procedures to drive cost savings and efficiencies • Prepare and analyze monthly financial reporting packages for executive management • Advise staff on client finance best practices and non-routine transactions • Manage and mentor direct reports and junior staff through career development

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with a minimum concentration in accounting, finance or business • 6+ years of relevant accounting/finance experience, including 2–3 years in a supervisory role • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills • Agency or Professional Services experience a plus • Month end close experience • Revenue Recognition experience • Project Accounting experience • Client Services/Client Facing experience
