• Support overall financial management for the client portfolio, reporting, day-to-day activities, and month-end close duties • Support monthly project accounting efforts and lead selected monthly status meetings with project managers • Manage project updates across financial trackers • Review and reconcile new projects, change orders, budget adjustments, carve-outs, milestones, tasks, revenue types, signatures, Salesforce data, and intercompany amounts • Set up new clients in accounting systems and files, including employee-to-billable-rate mapping and MSA rebate and discount review • Review intercompany revenue and cost transactions, cost allocations, contracts, and project scope changes • Assist with revenue recognition and ensure compliance with client contracts • Prepare monthly project revenue forecasts and compare them with budget or plan • Review project hours, expenses, roles, rates, costs, and subcontractor activity against forecasts and budgets • Prepare and review client invoicing, maintain contract invoicing waterfalls, and follow up on past-due invoices • Review and submit monthly client accruals and consolidate accruals across Precision entities • Review Salesforce business development opportunities and maintain accurate internal schedules and financial trackers • Assist with annual budgeting, P&L budget line items, annual audit support, new policies and procedures, and monthly close activities • Advise and mentor junior staff on client-finance best practices and career development
• Bachelor’s degree with a minimum concentration accounting, finance or business • 3+ years of relevant accounting/finance experience • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills • Agency or Professional Services experience a plus • Month end close experience preferred • Revenue Recognition experience preferred • Project Accounting experience preferred • Client Services/Client Facing experience preferred • Excellent client service and communication skills • Deadline-oriented with good time management and organizational skills • Critical thinking, analytical, interpretative, and problem-solving skills • Ability to process and analyze large volumes of qualitative and quantitative information • Ability to multitask with great attention to detail and high accountability • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills • Ethics and integrity when dealing with confidential and sensitive information • Self-starting attitude with a strong desire to learn and grow rapidly
